Uploading your PDF from your computer – Ticket 1524845
The product page has two different boxes that both have an add button, and they do completely different things. The one you reached opens your website’s Media Library. The one you need opens your own computer.

This is why it looked like SureCart was refusing to open your computer. You were in the picture gallery box, and that box is only ever allowed to open your website’s Media Library.
The path that opens your File Explorer
- WordPress Dashboard, then SureCart, then Products.
- Click the product name to open it.
- Scroll down past Media. Keep going past Inventory and Integrations. Stop at the box titled Downloads.
- Click Add Downloads, then choose Secure Storage.
- The SureCart Media window opens and says “No items found”. That is correct and expected the first time.
- Click the blue Upload Media button at the top left. This is the step that opens your File Explorer.
- Pick your PDF and confirm. Wait for the upload to finish without closing the tab.
- The PDF appears as a row. Click that row so it is selected.
- The bottom right button changes to Choose 1 file. Click it.
- Back on the product, click Save Product.
Why “No items found” appears: SureCart Secure Storage and your WordPress Media Library are two separate places. Your two existing PDF copies live in WordPress, so they can never show up in this window. Uploading again from your computer is the only way in, and it is not a mistake or a duplicate.

A sample PDF has been uploaded to this demo product through the exact steps above. Pick either license and complete the purchase. This is Test Mode, so choose Test Processor – no card details are requested and no money moves. Use an email address you can open, because the download link arrives in its own separate email titled “Access your purchase”, not in the receipt.
