Checkout Popup Text and Stripe Link (Ticket 1546907)

Demo for ticket 1546907: the order confirmation popup shows white text on a white background, plus how to hide Stripe Link and Google Pay.

1. Confirmation popup text (live test)

Both checkout pages below copy this theme setting: Astra Customizer > Global > Colors > Text color = white. The popup has a white background and uses the page text color, so the title and message become invisible.

  1. Click a button (the page opens with a $7.99/month demo membership in the cart).
  2. Enter any email (for example you@example.com) and a name.
  3. Keep Test Processor selected and click Purchase.
  4. Look at the popup.

The fix is this CSS, added in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. It only changes the popup text color; the rest of the checkout looks the same.

2. Hide Stripe Link and Google Pay

This demo store only has the Test Processor (no Stripe account connected), so Link and Google Pay cannot appear here. The snippet below was tested on a real Stripe checkout in Chrome and in Firefox 156: the Link box (“Save my information for faster checkout”) and Google Pay disappear, and the card fields keep working.

Add it with a code snippet plugin such as WPCode: new snippet, type JavaScript Snippet, location Site Wide Footer, then activate.

No code option: in the Stripe Dashboard go to Settings > Payment methods, select the SureCart configuration, and turn off Link and Google Pay. Do it in every Stripe account connected to SureCart (test and live).
