This page shows the ASOC26 promotion working with standard SureCart settings only: no code, no plugin, no snippet. The store is in Test Mode, so you can finish an order with the Test Processor (no real card).
The rule we built
- Without ASOC26: no discount at any quantity.
- ASOC26 with 1 item in the cart: 7% off.
- ASOC26 with 2 or more items in the cart (same or different products): 10% off the whole order.
- 7% and 10% never add up to 17%: the 10% is made of the 7% coupon plus an extra 3%, both calculated on the same subtotal.

On test 4, click Add Coupon Code, type ASOC26 and apply it: the total drops to $34.20. Then use the minus button to go down to 1 item: the extra 3% line disappears and the total becomes $17.67 (7%). Press plus again and it goes back to 10%. Remove the code with the small x and every discount disappears.
How it is set up in SureCart
Step 1. Coupon (SureCart > Coupons > Add New): Percent Discount 7, Promotion Code ASOC26.
Step 2. Dynamic Pricing rule (SureCart > Dynamic Pricing > Add New):
- Display Name (visible to shoppers): ASOC26 extra 3% (2 or more items)
- Applies to: Checkout (the entire order)
- When to apply: Initial checkout
- Adjustment: Discount, 3%
- Condition: Promotion Code is ASOC26
- AND condition: Line Item Quantity is at least 2 (on a Checkout rule this is the total number of units in the cart, across all products)
A real test order was placed this way: TEST-0190, Subtotal $49, ASOC26 extra 3%: $1.47, Discount ASOC26 7%: $3.43, paid $44.10.
